Cozumel beaches with a rustic feel:
Alberto's Beach Restaurant and Bar has been
open for 7 years, and it has just recently come to my attention. Mostly because
it just didn't look like it was open judging from the entrance. But some recent visitors to Cozumel Beaches have come to me and asked why I hadn't put it on the Cozumel beaches map yet, so I visited and to my surprise it was everything that they said it was. Primitive (which I love), not busy, great fresh caught daily fish! And an ambiance reminiscent of old Cozumel beaches. This is especially cool because many of our beaches are going modern! |

This is one of few Cozumel Beaches that have live Reggae and Salsa music or a DJ starting at 6:00 PM till 10:00 PM, now that they have electricity (which is relatively new to them). The primitiveness of the beach is one of its most attractive features. So far you will not find many tourists hanging out at Alfredos Beach so if you want to get away, this is the place to do it. Cozumel beaches can be fun even at night! You can sit in the shade or lay out on the beach. They also have Hobie Cats (you can see them in the distance below) that you can rent for an additional charge of . If you would like to check out the menu just click on the picture to your right. |

I've been getting a lot of rave reviews lately, from different sources, about this being one of the best Cozumel beaches, so I went out and took these pictures today (March 25th, 2008). I went early in the morning and they were just setting up so that is why there isn't anyone in the shot. While you are laying down or having your meal you can also enjoy a drink. If you want to view their drink menu just click on the image to the left. |
