Cozumel Beaches with history!

Playa San Francisco is one of the original Cozumel beaches on the leeward side of the island. It enjoyed a monopoly for many years and to this day still makes about the best Pia Coladas on the island. It even comes in the whole pineapple! I like to scoop it out after drinking it. |

Playa San Francisco has a fresh water pool, jet ski rentals, parasailing, banana boat rides, and a host of other activities. Since it is just north of the "Newest of Cozumel Beaches", Paradise beach, they are trying harder then ever to win your business. |

Not all Cozumel Beaches are created equal. Playa San Francisco has a great sandy beach and bottom that has a nice gradual drop off. This makes for a very nice beach experience. You can thank mother nature for that. The protective cove to the North of the beach helps to preserve the sand bottom. Remember; make sure to try the Pia Coladas!
