The combination of Mexican Colonial architecture with modern amenities
was a must. Central Air Conditioning, Cable Television, Wi-Fi
connectivity, free VOIP phone service to the USA, Canada and select
European countries, a washer and
dryer in each villa, along with personal chef service (optional), and
more, makes Casa
Colonial the perfect home away from home in the heart of San Miguel (the
only town on Cozumel). Our concept prior to construction was
to create a lively and festive environment to transport our guests to an
earlier time in Mexico. It had to be tastefully elegant and yet blend in
with Classic Colonial style. Every fruit tree, flower, and exotic plant
in our large and lush tropical garden was hand picked and planted with landscape
architecture in mind. The garden is highly manicured for optimal
visual pleasure. And lastly, it needed to represent Luxury without the
price tag. This was to be the foundation that guided us in our creation
of Casa Colonial. We wanted you to know when you woke up in the morning
that you were in Mexico and not just another generic hotel room.
Casa Colonial vs. a hotel:
Living in a villa in town gives you a wonderful opportunity to
participate in town life while representing exceptional value over
conventional hotel rooms. Our numerous features and amenities offer an
environment much like being in your own home; but you're not..... You're
on Cozumel!
You can get up in the morning and have coffee and some quiet time on the
patio without having to dress up to go to a restaurant. Or you can blend
your own Margarita and sip it by the pool or Jacuzzi while taking in the
sun!
The cost of renting at Casa Colonial compares favorably with the cost of
a hotel for the same period of time, especially if you need multiple
bedrooms for your fellow travelers. The grocery store is conveniently located a block and a half away! These
two amenities alone will save you a substantial amount of money compared
to hotel room service and occupancy requirements.
At the same time, in the heart of town, you'll enjoy the culture of street vendors
who sell fresh fruits and vegetables. The "panadero", which is the
bakery on wheels passes by every evening. Cheese, tamales, and other
offerings are available from street vendors, straight from their
kitchens.
Casa Colonial is located close to everything!
There are some
great shops near Casa Colonial. You can go window shopping and buy some
of the famous Mexican handicrafts on the avenue, which is just a block
away from your villa.
The best restaurants in town are also located within walking distance. You
can walk to your favorite restaurant and have a drink (or two) with
dinner and not have to worry about driving home!
